Memories that turned dreams into art

One day in the month of June in 1984, I began to work in a sector that, as I have mentioned on other occasions, has brought me great joys, knowledge and, most importantly, great friendships.

I am referring to the culture sector, although I came from another that is closely related, that of education, the one that gave me one of my great passions: teaching.

But as things are in life, then I came to the science sector, from which, although I worked there for a short time, I also keep very fond memories and from which I also learned a lot, and today I have true friendships.

Closer memories

Life wanted, that an acquaintance at that time, proposed me to offer my services, not without a little fear, to what continues to be my home: the Office of the Historian of the city and that was when another day of the same month June 7th, exactly, but 1999, a new chapter in my working life began.

I was returning once more, to perform similar cultural functions again, yes, because my world always had to do with cultural projects where artists, creators, promoters, fans, specialists and cultural managers in general, set out with us to make of a set of dreams a reality, which today I confess, sometimes seemed unattainable chimeras.

Just as I have said on more than one occasion, with my file inside a bag, because we didn’t even have a place; began this beautiful work that I completely fell in love with and which I still cannot part with.

If I went back in time, I would choose those paths again; to live again the wonderful experiences that have made my heart vibrate many times, because if they take away our culture, as has already been said, they take away our souls.
