With the opening of the cultural institutions of the Office of the Historian of the city, as of November 12th, several activities will be carried out.
The José Marín Varona Concert Hall invites you to a day of concerts, at 8:30 at night, which will begin on the 12th with the presentation of the Professional Choir, regarding the celebrations for its 60th Anniversary. Meanwhile, the José Ramón Orol Chamber Orchestra will take the stage on the 13th and finally the duo A Piacere will harmonize the night of the 14th.
The House of Cultural Diversity offers a varied program that begins on the 12th, always at 10:30 in the morning. The first suggestion is the inauguration of the Philatelic Exhibition on Heritage Cities “Heritage Cities, a view from philately.” While on the 13th, the cultural activity Caribbean Space will take place with the special participation of the Dessandan group. And for the closing on the 14th, it will be the time for the Tertulia “Alisios” and the artistic participation of the Unión Quartet.
The Fidelio Ponce Gallery also joins the cultural activities, with the inauguration of the Collective Photographic Exhibition Twelve, as part of the celebrations for a new anniversary of the granting of the city title, the right to use the coat of arms and the capitulars, to Villa de Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe by King Fernando XVII.
