After a prolonged time of pandemic, the comprehensive care system is resumed in the Historic Center of the city, which is led and directed by the highest authorities of the Party and the Government in the province; under the coordination and control of the Office of the Historian of Camagüey city.

Republic, Maceo, San Juan de Dios, Carmen streets and Workers’ Square are the main axes of the city, to which other places in the center will join as the work progresses.

The tasks are carried out by the institutions and organizations with real estate located in the area, among them: the Provincial Directorate of Housing, the Office of the Historian and the Directorate of Commerce and Gastronomy; the latter is responsible for providing maintenance to its units.

The city and its inhabitants deserve attention, the improvement and care of the urban image of this city that is about to celebrate its 508th anniversary is everyone’s task.
