Whenever it is approaching the first of May you feel a special excitement, not only in the labor collectives, but everywhere, it is like an internal joy that is experienced in all and that manifests itself in different ways, voluntary work is done and productive to beautify the work centers, special morning activities are performed, in short, dissimilar activities that denote we are ready for an important event.

This year the same thing has not stopped happening, on the contrary, the country is immersed in that characteristic satisfaction of always, in spite of the international threats that have us all with the guard up and alert for any contingency. However, for the people of Camagüey, this is also the first day of May, a significant event, because in 1959, he was here celebrating with Camagüeyans nothing more and nothing less than that man of the people so admired and loved that he always It has been Commander Camilo Cienfuegos.

Recently Cuban television filmed a beautiful story to remember these sixty years, where many people who had the opportunity to live that moment and gave their impressions, remembered the experience with an extraordinary emotion, only able to feel those who were at his side.
