On the International Day for Monuments and Historic Sites, the Office of the Historian of Camagüey city was awarded the provincial prizes in the category of Restoration and Conservation of Monuments.

The first, for the execution of the restoration project for the work of the Railway Museum and the second for the quality of the conservation project for the headquarters of the Office of the Historian; located in Carmen Square.

The activity was carried out as part of the program that begins on April 18th and ends on May 18th with the celebration of International Museum Day.
