Every year it is usual for the Office of the Historian of Camagüey city to hold during the Culture Week, the National Symposium Challenges in the Management and Administration of Cities.

This event is the most important of the institution and has become the most comprehensive professional event, held in Cuba on the preservation and management of heritage.

Taking into account the complicated epidemiological situation in the country, it had been proposed that this time, it would be held in the form of a workshop; an alternative, in order to hold this outstanding event.

However, due to the alarming increase in cases of COVID-19, the organizing committee of the event has decided to cancel it, after the corresponding talks with the main sponsors.

We apologize to all possible participants and people involved in the preparation of the event. We hope that next year can be carried out with the quality and excellence that characterizes it.
