A room where the imprint of two unforgettable men in the history of Cuba converge: Agramonte and Fidel; proudly carries the Revolution Square belonging to the Office of the Historian of Camagüey city, from 2016.
This sacred site of the homeland welcomes Cubans every year that, since the day of the last goodbye to the Commander, have not stopped having mixed feelings of sadness, love and remembrance of a man who gave his life for Cuba.
The museum room, where Fidel’s ashes were laid on the way to the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery, took the name of the place where El Mayor fell and according to the Director of the Office, José Rodríguez Barreras; It was built expressly for that moment, the table where the glass urn rested on top of the harmonium protecting the ossuary is exposed and there is the pedestal where his ashes were placed, plus the Revolution concept, the photograph of Fidel in the Sierra, exactly in the place where they were on that date.
The testimonies of workers, professionals of the word and the people in general, of those days in November 2016 are countless. One of them touches the decibels and words that are grouped on our website to share his story with us.
