There were not few admiring faces. In each example the secrets that make radio a complex universe, and at the same time magical, were revealed. They were there, in his house; in the studio that simulates whether a period house or a police scene.

And at times, part of her experience as a student, this woman carried with her a child or an old woman. Between silences, effects and voices the door closes, lovers discover each other, a neighbor breaks the silence of the neighborhood and without noticing it you are part of one of the recordings of the Camagüey Dramatic Ensemble “Nino Moncada”.

One of the best voices on radio in Agramonte’s lands was in charge of the organizational steps necessary for the creation of the Dramatic Group. Nino, as his friends and listeners called him, was a broadcaster and also a news writer, show producer, actor, and director. He was a radio man.

Since then it has been a path of success and a show of professionalism on the part of a group of actors, directors, writers, musicians, technicians and advisers, responsible for maintaining the respect of an audience faithful to the dramatized programming that has included Cuban Novels, Radial II, Guardia Operativa, Mundo Pioneril, and other spaces of the provincial radio station Radio Cadena Agramonte.

Outstanding works such as Los intereses creados, La Ramera respetuosa y Santa Camila de la Habana Vieja, Vade Retro, Yo tengo un brillante, and Yo Judas; There are also many names of those who for more than five decades have made radio a safe company.

Currently, the Nino collective is looking for other ways to be with his followers, even in times of COVID-19 when the epidemiological situation imposed new radio practices, they were there.

For example, the miniseries Aurelia Castillo de González aired; a work produced from the artists’ homes, an example of the support of culture even in difficult circumstances.
