There are not a few gifts that the city receives in the second month of the year in the form of dissimilar ways such as the particular lines that intertwine the dreams of those of us who live here.
In this effort, every February, the Office of the Historian of Camagüey city invites Camagüey residents to enjoy an exhibition from the Fidelio Ponce de León Gallery, located in the headquarters of the cultural institution.
This time, the collective exhibition “City: line of my dreams” was inaugurated, an initiative that “supports Camagüey and its conglomerate of motivations, illusions, realities with its own impulse”, as described in the Desiderio Borroto Fernández catalog, curator of the exhibition.
In “City: line of my dreams” there are works by Joel Jover, Orestes Larios, Osmani Soler, Oscar Laaseria, Nazario Salazar, Alejandrina Silvera, Ileana Sánchez, Magdiel García, Isabel de las Mercedes, Oscar Jr. Rodríguez, Nelson Miranda and Martha Jimenez.
Since the beginning of the Office of the Historian, a special symbiosis has been conceived with the artistic vanguard of Camagüey, a solid working relationship that allows the materialization of projects of great value for the city and its inhabitants.
