Moment for fair recognition
A special moment was the presentation of the annual Patrimonio Vivo Award, an initiative that the House of Cultural Diversity promotes since its opening, to a community, personality, family or cultural heritage.
On this occasion, recognition was given to the Ijujú Choir, an exponent of Cantabrian culture in Camagüey, for its beautiful work with the musical traditions of that region, which is so present in Cuban songwriting and, of course, in Camagüey.
La Coral started as something internal to the members from the House of Cantabria, they fell in love with music and today, after 10 years of singing, their songs caress the ear, make you remember the grandparents or make you dance for joy. The elegance and scenic uniformity of the group are attributes that please the viewer and distinguish the Coral Ijujú. Said his director, Orlando González.
Sweet End
The 8th conference for dialogue and development finished with the recognition by the House of Cultural Diversity of Camagüey, due to the organization of the event sustained by the constancy of its workers. It leaved us an invitation to travel that great ajiaco of popular knowledge, that make us unique and different.
