Literature continues to beat strongly in Camagüey. With a change of space for the sale of its publications, El Lugareño publishing label, from the Office of the Historian reopens its store to the public.

The Interpretation Center of the city, also part to the Office, -located in the Agramonte Park of this literary city by essence-, strengthens work ties, becoming the new headquarters of the store where the works of El Lugareño publishing label will be sold. Thus, it offers the possibility of knowing the model of the city and acquiring texts of high historical value that the publishing label produces.

According to Irma Horta Mesa, director of said label, the idea of locating the store in the Interpretation Center focuses on activating the city’s literary circuit, with the aim not only of marketing printed materials; but also to make presentations of works, in La Mayor Street, near the place.

If you have not yet traveled through the magic that the model of the city treasures, come closer because soon will have an added cultural value, the tour will be complemented with interesting texts from El Lugareño publishing label.

Among the latest works is “Ignacio Agramonte and the Jimaguayú combat” and the magazine Sendero 22, dedicated to the 25th film critic workshop with a pictorial sketch by Joel Jover. Works that you can take home with the pleasant memory of approaching the city.
