In all honesty, I can say that I have met few people whose smile and joviality breathe on the surface; interpreting that any concern or problems do not represent any disturbance.

It was as if for him everything had a solution and was possible, even knowing the situation, because like all mortals, pains also accompanied him.

He had that great virtue, among others, yes, because he was a virtuous man, loved by so many, who always admire him and have not tired of lamenting and mourning his absence, well, that’s what I prefer to call it, never his loss, because we will never have lost it.

This is how I remember Luis Molina Cebada, the artist, producer, artistic director, stage manager, makeup artist, teacher, dental technician, in short …, the friend, the one he and my daughter said to each other: “Cristina” , for some anecdote that I never found out; But I did know that he truly united them, as well as a very strong feeling, not only of friendship, but of gratitude, respect, infinite appreciation, which, perhaps not even he knew how far it went and what it meant.

Tireless worker

He, who organized and directed so many galas, shows, activities and all kinds of cultural activities for the Office of the Historian, and with which he collaborated so tirelessly, is gone, and that is why today it feels incomplete without his presence and cooperation.

I am sure many years will pass and he will never be forgotten, as his charisma transcended professional frameworks to settle as an immense friendship in the hearts of a large number of the workers of this institution.

That day will come…

The displays of affection and love, through the different media and social networks that this, his land, gave him when it learned of his death were innumerable, not only because of who he was; but because he left this world at a very young age and because, furthermore, he could not be mourned as he deserved and we would have liked.

When months pass and everything returns to the “new normal”, we Camagüey already know how to honor his memory from that place that was always for him his safe heaven, and gave him the greatest pleasure: the stage; either in a large theater or in a simple room where a show will be presented.

That day will come, and I will be there, to pay my tribute of affection and pay off that debt to my friend, to whom I will never have enough words to thank him for the loyalty he proved to me.
