The International Day of Monuments and Historic Sites was held this morning in the City of Tinajones, in its most emblematic space, the Agramonte Park.

That’s why little Yiliana sang to the heroes, Lil dedicated poetry to El Mayor and the winners of the competition for the protection of the Monuments were awarded: Bárbara Oliva, Yordan García and Henry García, who painted with love their valuable heritage, which keeps the 505 years of history of this City.

As part of the celebration, the Provincial Heritage Center presented the Provincial Restoration Prize, to the José Marín Varona Concert Hall, for the work that restored life to the building and its surroundings.

The Office of the Historian developed a varied program during the week, which ended with the central act for the day of the Monuments, this time dedicated to the Rural Landscapes, which closes with a call to preserve everything that speaks of our origins and cultural values.
