The Interpretation Center “Camagüey, World Heritage City”, a place belonging to the Office of the Historian, is the site where the Model of the Historic Center is located. This place exhibits the heritage and architectural values of our city.

It is located on Martí Street # 160 A, between Cisneros and Independencia Street, in the vicinity of the emblematic Ignacio Agramonte Park.

The model consists of 13 quadrants, which show the irregular layout that characterizes the Historic Center of Camagüey

There are several interpretive panels in its main hall, with information on the evolution of the city and elements that characterize it.

Clay has characterized Camagüey architecture for centuries, hence representative elements of our pottery tradition are exhibited.

Representative places on a larger scale also promote an approach to the heritage, architectural and historical values of the city.
