It summarizes the most tender and strong values of Cuban women;  she knew how to be a fighter, mother, friend, heroine, co-worker and federated.

In her heart she concentrated the love of the country and the greatest values of the human being

Frank, Fidel and the 26th of July movement marked her life as an exemplary Cuban.

Then, with the light of January 1, 1959, her dream to dignify the women and put them at the forefront of the revolution became a reality by founding an organization that united the Cuban federates in the magnanimous task of being a pillar of the social system for which so much it had been fought.

In this unique trajectory of our Vilma Espin, all generations of Cubans have played the role that corresponds to us;  our grandmothers, mothers, sisters and even the youngest quarry are faithful witnesses.

One year more than not having it among us the pain invades us, but the commitment grows, because we are sure to continue his legacy of victory and courage, flying her dreams in a concrete reality that is named: Cuba.

From the Office of the Historian of the Camagüey City we continue committed to your example, Vilma of always, of the history, the love of the eternal and just fight.
