The computerization strategy for the Office of the Historian was presented for approval and brainstorming.

Technology as a fundamental support for projects, research and knowledge management in the institution is vital.

According to the director of the Office, José Rodríguez Barrera, computerization is a priority issue; it is a viable way to do a more precise work for the citizen, where social inclusion is palpable.

This strategy is projected for the 2021-2024 period, in which actions will be specified to, among many others, use computerization to digitize marketing processes related to the client, the promotion of literary works, photogrammetry; linked to cybersecurity and copyright issues.

Reynaldo Alonso Reyes, president of the Cuban Computer Union in the province explained how this strategy will contribute to the Office, the city and its inhabitants
