The awards of the 2019 Bioencuadre Contest, an event that is convoked every year by our cities’ branch of the Cuban Association of Social Communicators (CASC), took place on Saturday, June 8 at the CASC headquarters in this city.

This year, besides the usual specialized awards by categories, the Camaguey Historian´s Office (OHCC, by its acronym in Spanish) was added giving a collateral prize in the man-nature category. This award went to the work no. 93, belonging to Diana Ross Iraola.  The work awarded by the OHCC represents dialogue and the possible harmonious coexistence between man and nature, as well as the skill and sensitivity of the young photographer.

Diana Ross Iraola, in addition to mentions in other categories and the collateral prize awarded by the City Historian´s Office, received the highest award granted by the jury of the contest in the category man-nature.
