“We are Heritage” will be the variety magazine that Radio Príncipe, from the Camaguey Historian´s Office, will broadcast from July 5 on the frequency 1140 kHz, of Radio Camagüey.
For the first time the listeners of this station, voice of the “Agramontino” heritage, will be able to receive the signal on their radio thanks to the close work between the City Historian´s Office and the Cuban Instituto of Radio and Television in the province.

With a central topic always based on Camagüey’s heritage, the magazine will air on Fridays from 1: 30 – 3: 00pm.
It will have sections such as: Chronicles of Camagüey, A moment for dialogue with José Rodríguez Barreras, director of the City Historian´s Office, What do we do today for heritage?, A tour for our website, Let’s talk about communication, Living together, Discovering us, This week in history, The Compass, From the institutions and Cultural board.
Among the topics to be discussed in the first frequency are the following: Why are we a world heritage site?, with the presence of María Isabel Carmenates, director of Master Plan of the City Historian´s Office and Office options for the summer of 2019, with Anabel Lestayo González, director of the Cultural Heritage Office of the historic center. In addition, the Camaguey legends will also be addressed; the vernacular architecture; the tinajón, its history and legends.
It will be an hour and a half dedicated to learn more about our city and how to conserve it because being World Heritage Site is not a goal but an incentive to continue building a special city that allows us to bequeath to our children and to the humanity, a well preserved Camagüey.
