For the tenacity and dedication they put into their daily work, for risking their lives beyond the slogan or duty, for the determination and sacrifice of those men and women who give themselves in body and soul to the noble task of protecting the peace and harmony of our days, for knowing how to define between the lie and the truth, bearers of justice … Thank you.

May the recognition and appreciation of the Cuban citizens reach the veterans of the Ministry of the Interior in the 58th Anniversary of its creation.  Let us remember then through the words of Commander Fidel Castro Ruz, the important role that these brave people play in the Cuba we have built today: “one of the most honorable and dignified roles that a revolutionary man can have (…) one of the jobs full of incentives, full of honor, full of confidence”.
