The presence of bicycles, pedicabs, mopeds and other types of transport that carry out maneuvers of all kinds when they travel in the opposite direction to vehicular traffic is already a daily occurrence, once again making the phrase “the comfort of some is the misfortune of others”, something that sometimes leads us to think that those who circulate correctly, do it badly.

If we add to the above the complicated network of roads that we have and the lack of culture when transiting, it means that driving today along any street in our historic center can be a feat.

The transgressors of the law, to which are added the pedestrians who also commit countless indiscipline, without perception of risk, are the most vulnerable, propitiate the occurrence of accidents that are no longer casual.

It is necessary to correct the system of prevention and road education of the population and strengthen the training of drivers and others involved with the aim of increase awareness about roads and traffic to reduce accidents and their fatal consequences, disseminating with greater emphasis Law No. 109. Road Safety Code.

In terms of safety, any action is valid, and action must be constant to achieve a safe environment in which the coexistence of pedestrians, cyclists and drivers is possible.
